Required shirt measurement: lay a garment that fits flat and measure straight from armpit seam to armpit seam. The finder doubles it.
The most reliable method is to measure a shirt that already fits, not your body and not the size printed on its label. Enter the flat width in inches and we will do the doubling and size comparison for you.
The charts show the finished garment measurement, not the body measurement. Measure a shirt flat from armpit to armpit. The finder doubles that width automatically before recommending a size.
Shirt sizing is required. Shorts are optional. Both measurements come from garments that already fit, laid flat without stretching.
Lay it flat and smooth it naturally. Do not measure around your body.
Run the tape straight across the chest in inches. Enter that single flat width.
The finder compares the full garment chest with the SQD chart and suggests the closest size.
The most common mistake is comparing a flat half-width with a full finished-garment measurement. The finder above performs that doubling automatically.

Required shirt measurement: lay a garment that fits flat and measure straight from armpit seam to armpit seam. The finder doubles it.

Waist: lay the shorts flat and measure the relaxed waistband straight across, then double it. Never stretch the elastic. Inseam: crotch seam to inner-leg hem.
Choose a range to keep the page manageable on mobile. Every chart is carried over from the previous SQD website.
Finished garment measurements in inches. For flat chest or waist width, divide the chart number by two.
Ignore the age label and measure a garment that currently fits them. Match the actual chest and length. If the two measurements point to different sizes, choose the larger size and ask SQD if you are unsure.
Choose the larger size for normal sports movement, layering or growing room. Only choose the smaller option when you deliberately want a close fit and the length still works.
No. It is the full measurement around the finished garment. A shirt measuring 20 inches flat across the chest is 40 inches around, which matches an SQD football jersey size S.
No. That is why each product has its own chart. Dry robes are deliberately oversized, padded jackets allow for layers, and elasticated shorts behave differently from tops.
Send the product and measurements to SQD before placing the order. We would rather check it now than swap a personalised kit later.
